This estate's 2003 Chianti Classico Riserva Vigna Casi is aged in a combination of small French oak barrels and larger casks. It is a weighty effort, with an attractive plumpness from the 10% Merlot used in the blend. It offers excellent length and fine overal balance. A very modern style Chianti from start to finish.
